Crabby kiddos before church, but a nice nap ALL through the service produced happier babies!
We spent Easter weekend at my parents' house. Saturday night we celebrated my sister Leslie's collegiate accomplishment by taking the train in to Chicago and eating at a Brazillian Steak house. Delicious! And Lexi loved the "fancy" dinner we got to have (even though she and Max only ate bacon, bread and ice cream!). We got a TON of pictures waiting for the train, on the train and walking to and from the restaurant, but for some reason (the excitement of the restaurant, maybe?) NO ONE got any pictures at the restaurant! Here are just a few of the trip. (forgive the poor quality of some of them...a moving train, moving kids and a cell phone don't always make for great pics!) We had such a great time, so glad my sister decided this was how she wanted to spend her graduation party!

Silly faces with Yia-Yia!

She put on my mom's reading glasses and said, "Look, I am Santa Clause!" ha!

Sisters = best friends.

So proud of this girl.

Waiting for and watching the train.
We spent the first part of Easter at my mom and dad's as well. Lexi and Max loved all their cool stuff from the Easter bunny. Max got some "digging" things and some cool tattoos. He also got a kite and pez.
Lexi got a kite and pez, as well. But the big hits were her Tangled lip glosses and her tattoos. And of course, all of the candy!

A couple of weeks ago my sister and I ran a 5k. This is after the "race." I say "race" because the flyer didn't clarify that the race was an hour and a half after sign in, so we ran the race early according to the markings and map given to us. We completed it in 35 minutes and that was with a quick potty break in the middle! Yay us!
